good morning, ladies and gentlemen. the topic of my lesson is
the language focus of my lesson is using nouns to identify common farm animals. they are chick, hen, cock, duck, sheep, pig and cow.
next, i will state the teaching procedure of the lesson. first of all, it’s the time for activity. we will sing the hello song to start the whole class. this is a natural approach to warm the class up and create the strong environment of english class. this funny english song arouse the students’ enthusiasm at the beginning of the lesson. after singing, we should review the old lesson. i arranged several questions we have learned before to open the daily talk.(ask and answer) asking questions is a method of reviewing. it will catch the students’ attention quickly and let me know the degree of the holding of the last lesson. then, we will start learning the new lesson. i will use the pictures and questions to introduce the new words one by one. (introduce and learn) after learning dispersedly, we should put the words together and imitate the correct sound. because my students are all the students of grade two. they are still very young. we will play a game to consolidate the new words. (this game is move the card to the correct place. i will invite the students come to the front and choose the card which he/she like. and then use the mouse to move the card below the correct picture. if it’s right, the animal will make some sound and the happy face will appear beside the picture. if it’s wrong, nothing will happen. ) through this game, all of the students can remember these words at once. before this class, we have learned using the simple sentences to express seeing. that is what do you see? in order to combine the sentence and the animals which we have learned today, we should have some practicing. i have arranged some other animals. if you know what it is, you can use the sentence i see… to tell us the answer. (ask and answer) these lovely pictures encourage the students to think hard and almost all the students want to say something. finally, i prepared a remember game to make all the students spin their mind and move their body. everybody can get a piece of paper and some paper animals. firstly, i will show some animals on the screen only several seconds. remember, only several seconds. the students should put them in their mind as fast as they can. then, i hide them. the students should stick the animals which they saw before on the paper with glue very fast. after sticking, tell us what he/she saw before.(e.g. i see a duck, a pig, a cow and a cock.) in the end, the one who get the right answer and use the shortest time for sticking who will be the winner. through this game, the students made good use of the nouns and the sentences and express them naturally and smoothly. this is the final aim of my hard working. in order to have a happy ending, we will sing a goodbye song to stop the whole class.
